Places of Interest (Kashmir)
Kashmir is undoubtedly the Heaven on Earth. There are so many places of tourist interest in Kashmir that you will have to spend one day per place to actually take in everything. Apart from the popular places, there is so much of unexplored Kashmir.
Srinagar itself requires at least 2 days to cover the beautiful gardens and the Dal Lake. Gulmarg needs an entire day to itself. Sonamarg has so much to do other than just the touristy stuff that even 3 days may be less. There are treks, lakes and hikes to discover. Pahalgam is a beauty which brings with itself so many valleys to explore. The valleys for example, Aru Valley are so beautiful that you would want to spend an entire day here. But, if you are a little short on time and have limited number of days for each places, we have covered the major places of interest in Kashmir. Srinagar
There are plenty of tourist attractions in Srinagar. You may cover the major ones in maximum two days. Some of the temples are outside the city for which you might need a separate day. Sonamarg
Situated on the banks of Sindh river, Sonamarg offers an undisturbed climate and you can intake plenty of healthy air. Sonamarg is popular among trekkers as there are many trekking options here like the the Vishansar and Krishansar, Satsar, Gadsar treks. Pahalgam
Pahalgam is a stunner. You would have seen it without exactly recognizing it in a number of Hindi Film Industry movies. It is a town in the Anantnag district situated on the banks of the river Lidder which flows musically all through Pahalgam. It is named as the health resort of Jammu & Kashmir.
